De Cajón Flamenco Festival

The fourth edition of this thumping, stomping, clapping, clacking festival will see 17 days of spectacular flamenco shows to warm your cockles this winter. Featured events include La Fiesta de PRK Cajón! is a flamenco contest hosted by Rubem Dantas and Lucky Losada.

Venues include Luz de Gas, on Rambla de Catalunya, Sala Apolo on Avenida de Paralelo and the spectacular on Palau de la Música Catalana, on Calle Sant Pere Més Alt.
The 2009 edition of the festival, includes extended venues such as the Casa de Cultura in Sant Cugat and the Auditori Barradas in L’Hospitalet.
Flamenco star Cigala y Compañía opens the festival at the Gran Teatre de Liceu on January 9th at 9.00pm.
