Estilo Nordico: Hidden nordic gem in Barcelona
Estilo Nordico S.L
If like us you have a penchant for Nordic design, Estilo Nordico the distributor for Nordic interior brands, has a small furniture and decoration store that you must visit. The location says it all, as it is quaintly placed on Carrer Zaragoza in the upscale Sant Gervasi area and is just 5 minutes walk from our favorite Thai restaurant El Petit Bangkok. Bursting with an abundance of brands such as House Doctor, Affari there is an array of products to choose from.
It is fair to say that Scandinavian design has been at the forefront of exceptional interior design with it’s blend of modern design, natural elements and personal style. Estilo Nordico is no exception – upon entering the store you are welcomed by ornate and interesting styled decorations for the home such as plates, things for the garden, antique looking candelabras etc. There is an immediate sense of charm with personal touches in the store like the chalk board behind the till and fabric shopping bags hung on the pegs. What makes this place special is that it feels like home, you are encouraged to take a seat and glance through the catalogue with the owner, Mikaela, acting as the perfect host on call for any assistance.
