Wilde Sunglasses – vintage shades in Barcelona
2 08001 Barcelona
There is always something to be said about straying from the well-trodden path and Joaquin Costa in Raval is no exception. On the same street as Les Topettes and hot dog takeaway spot The Dog is Hot, you can find Wilde, a store dedicated to vintage sunglasses. Owned by Venezuelan Cao Azuaje and Teppei Kikugawa from Japan, this store is perfect if you are seeking a good assortment of sunglasses as they stock styles from 1950 to 1990.
Teppei and Cao are avid collectors having scoured markets from all over the world in search of unique pieces of eyewear. They eventually went on to sharing their collections and hence, the Wilde store came in to fruition. Brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, Ray Ban and Balenciaga are stocked in this mini haven, as well as innovative designs from Shwood. They also sell their own line of sunglasses (all the glasses are handmade)
If you are in need of wearing your sunglasses again, we have Barcelona apartments for short-term holiday rental. Simply view our DestinationBCN to view our luxury apartment suites.
