It can all be a little overwhelming, the city may not be huge but the culture, activities, events, eateries etc. is vast. So we have taken it upon ourselves to amalgamate our local 12 years experience in the city via our blog. Whether you are planning on coming over for the festivals, want to find out vegan eats or general insider information, we will keep you in the loop.
Discover Barcelona’s Multiverse at Palau Robert
Ever imagined how Barcelona would look with famous landmarks juxtaposed against a different landscape? If so, this is what can be seen at Barcelona’s Multiverse exhibition at Palau Robert, noted as a “photographic stroll through an imaginary Barcelona”.
Even those not too familiar with the city will be able to recognize the different backdrops served behind emblematic locations, creating a parallel universe. The exhibition draws inspiration from multiverse theory by mathematician Hugh Everett III – which concludes that our universe may be one of multiple possible universes.
Photographer LLuís Busse explores the multiple universes that can be created with his photographic images, displaying an exciting, fun and imaginative display of how the city could look, enhancing a sense of magic. I particularly liked the way Busse merges Tibidabo mountain behind Las Arenas mall in Plaza Espanya and another is Sagrada Família at Mar Bella beach – creating a familiar yet unfamiliar perspective.
The exhibition is on until 11.09.2012
