It can all be a little overwhelming, the city may not be huge but the culture, activities, events, eateries etc. is vast. So we have taken it upon ourselves to amalgamate our local 12 years experience in the city via our blog. Whether you are planning on coming over for the festivals, want to find out vegan eats or general insider information, we will keep you in the loop.

24/09/2012 Bun Bo Vietnamese – heavenly food in Barcelona |
After a serious overdose in Japanese we decided to tap back in to some much needed Vietnamese at Bun Bo and it didn’t fail to get my tastebuds racing. They do an incredible menu del día at just a fraction of the normal price between 13.00 and 16.30, where you can tuck in to three courses and a drink. Bun Bo Vietnam offers succulent dishes, tasty noodle soups and delicious entrees. They now have a new establishment in Raval, but the original restaurant in the glorious Gothic quarter still proves popular.
Upon entry the restaurant is let’s say, “happy”. Decorated with splashes of color, bright lanterns and table cloth that we make you break a smile the vibe is vibrant. Must dishes are the delicious crispy wontons and spring rolls, there is of course the traditional pho (a traditional soup with rice noodles) and a variety of mouth watering noodle and rice dishes. Beware as cocktails start at a mere 3,50 and you will find friendly staff only to keen to make sure that you are topped up. The outdoor terrace is perfect for those that want to tae drinks outside and socialize in the sun.
