It can all be a little overwhelming, the city may not be huge but the culture, activities, events, eateries etc. is vast. So we have taken it upon ourselves to amalgamate our local 12 years experience in the city via our blog. Whether you are planning on coming over for the festivals, want to find out vegan eats or general insider information, we will keep you in the loop.
New year, new you with natural products at Adonia
Happy New Year! 2013 is the year of change, that year when things are going to really happen, the year when we say…time for change. As repetitiveness as this may sound, we must admit that it is the same promises we make each year. If you are one of those people that want to take better care of your body, we know just the place to help you achieve that very resolution.
Adonia is a large organic cosmetic haven, located on the never ending road of Balmes. Founded by Laura and Jorge, a beloved couple passionate about natural living, you can’t help but get excited by the sheer merchandise of eco friendly skincare, body care, men’s grooming, baby products and more! That’s right, this is a store that stocks products for the whole family. We got to sample products from Latvian brand Madara – which is an award-winning natural and organic cosmetic line that is relatively new to the store. If you have been partying as of late, and simply want to boost the appearance of your skin we would definitely recommend this range, particularly as they cover a range of different skin types. For those that aren’t quite sure on what to get, they offer really good packages with a condensed selection, to introduce you to their products.
Top end products from La Biosthetique can also be found at Adonia, with the hair and skin care line in addition to the scalp oils. Products by Cattier Paris include cleansing milks, clay masks, creams and even a slimming concentrate, ideal for those wanting to kick start their new year fitness plan. They also have organic deodorant, free of alcohol and aluminum salts, that has proven popular within the store.
We recently blogged about the interesting olive oil based products that can be found at Olive Delicatessen del Mediterraneo, well this has been taken to another level with Matarrania – a certified local brand with skincare products based on oils and extracts. Creams contain at least 90% organic first cold pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil certified by the Aragon Council of Ecological Agriculture. By using a cold press the company ensure that the olive oil retains all of its natural and valuable properties.
With an incredible range of products from near and far, you will find products that you need for a healthier you at Adonia.
