Eyescream and Friends Barcelona
Eyescream and Friends
We recently visited Eyescream and Friends in Barceloneta, an ice cream parlor dedicated to a a different style of ice cream – Taiwanese shaved ice made with Italian gelato. Joad López and Federico Mendoza are the founders of this little find, which was designed by Barcelona-based Estudio M. With it’s cute brand identity, here you can buy an assortment of ice-cream, otherwise known as sweet monsters that are adorned with candied eyes. It is easy to see why children get excited about this sweet stuff.
You have the option of the following flavors; strawberry, chocolate, cheesecake, mango, wild yoghurt, and vanilla. They also have a selection of sorbets for those who are lactose-intolerant With your box of mushy good stuff you can choose 2 delicious syrup toppings to drizzle on top; chocolate, condensed milk, passion fruit, honeydew melon amongst others. Though it’s a small space the attention to detail is second to none, with it’s sign on the facade of the building that also serves as a menu.
