It can all be a little overwhelming, the city may not be huge but the culture, activities, events, eateries etc. is vast. So we have taken it upon ourselves to amalgamate our local 12 years experience in the city via our blog. Whether you are planning on coming over for the festivals, want to find out vegan eats or general insider information, we will keep you in the loop.
Cute coffee spot – Molika Cafe
If you like good coffee teamed with rustic Nordic interiors and charm, you will love the cute coffee spot Molika cafe. Situated on Carrer de Casp, it is neatly tucked away from the elegant Passeig de Gracia boulevard. Lets face it, coffee is that little cup of something special that you look forward to in the morning, so that said it is nice to relax in a cosy environment.
The interior reflects a charm with its floral upholstery in parts, wooden elements, vintage scales, antique mirror, white brick walls and low lit lighting. In fact some of the products of this little gem is from Estilo Nordico, which we blogged about previously!
Here’s to the important part, the food! Well, it’s rather delicious actually, cakes such as banana bread, apple tartlets and plum cake with coconut and white chocolate icing are definitely worth going for. If you get there just before lunch you can get a freshly cooked four cheese pizza, which is a slice of something special. You tend to get the happy folk here, making it an easy breezy place to relax with a book or read the newspaper. A simple yet nicely decorated place with a good selection of bites.
