Medwinds – Pure Mediterranean lifestyle
It isn’t everyday that you find many of the classic items that you need for the season in one shop, but that is most definitely the case with Medwinds. Located on 7 Elisabeth Street in the neighborhood of Raval in Barcelona. So what makes this store a perfect haven for those essentials? Well, many assorted espadrilles, fresh dresses, sandals and an effortless style of dressing when it comes with the Med. Most of these items can be purchased at Medwinds and at a reasonable price point.
Products are carefully created to evoke elements of the Mediterranean lifestyle. Upon looking at some of their merchandise visions of long summer strolls and relaxing with friends along the beach come to mind. Happy sunny moments! HandMed is how the brand participates in preserving the traditional and artisan work from their original locations. Take for instance the straw baskets from a small village called Capdepera in Mallorca or the sustainable project where sunglasses are made with driftwood sourced from the coast of the Mediterranean. They just keep getting better and we think there will be more collaborations to come.
They recently opened a store at Spitafields London and already have a store in Palma de Mallorca, so they are slowly on the rise.
