It can all be a little overwhelming, the city may not be huge but the culture, activities, events, eateries etc. is vast. So we have taken it upon ourselves to amalgamate our local 12 years experience in the city via our blog. Whether you are planning on coming over for the festivals, want to find out vegan eats or general insider information, we will keep you in the loop.

What's On

Art, Two Points at La Caixa Forum and MACBA

Art in Barcelona is thriving, home to some of the greatest artists, painters and architects it is exciting to consider the a collaboration of collections from Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA) and the Fundación la Caixa.

Served to celebrate the overall importance of contemporary art in the city. The narrative eludes the city’s evolvement in modernity, with the gallery spaces channeling the different stages. Emotions and other meanings are conjured up, as you go through the exhibition, seeing the city’s highs and lows.  This includes post-war, nationalism, geopolitical order of the eighties to the of the nineties. You will find many exhibits that reflect the everyday, expressing a deeper character. A great artistic reflection of Barcelona. On until 6th January 2014.

View the exhibitions at both museums:
