Alaparra – wine tasting in Poblenou
Alaparra in the Poblenou district, has only been open a few months and is already leaving quite an impression when it comes to wine – in a city like Barcelona, that is saying something. Spread over two floors it offers over 250 varieties of wine, with a particular focus on local Catalan labels. Almost half of the wines can be tasted and the majority are affordable, priced between 4 to 10 euros.
In addition to having a physical store, Alaparra also offers wine lovers a warm and social space to relax, where you can sample some homemade tapas, and experiment with a glass or two of the region’s finest. The tastings take place in the attic, which was once a horse barn. The high ceilings offer lots of space making it perfect for groups, which Alaparra cater for, in addition to birthday and other celebrations. We recommend having a tasty menu there too, with tasty dishes complemented with the wines.
DestinationBCN offer luxury Barcelona apartments in the city, making you feel at home whilst exploring the city.
