Barcelona Blog

It can all be a little overwhelming, the city may not be huge but the culture, activities, events, eateries etc. is vast. So we have taken it upon ourselves to amalgamate our local 12 years experience in the city via our blog. Whether you are planning on coming over for the festivals, want to find out vegan eats or general insider information, we will keep you in the loop.

Summer nights at La Pedrera 2015

Casa Milà – La Pedrera
Carrer Provença, 261-265
08008 Barcelona

Rooftops in Barcelona are very much the first sign of summer and aside from the hotels currently inaugurating, Gaudí’s La Pedrera will be doing the very same, offering entertainment on the beautiful and curvy rooftop. Enjoy a glass of something bubbly at a historical monument, with a slight summer breeze and some good music lilting your ears.

Listen to live jazz and bask in the views from Passeig de Gracia on Fridays and Saturdays from 19 June to 12 September where doors open at 8:30PM and the concert starts at 9:00PM, ending at 10:30PM.The price is €28 and includes a free visit to the Espai Gaudí, a visual tour of the work of the unique architect and a drink on the terrace. Buy tickets here.

If you are all set for you trip and are currently seeking accommodation, DestinationBCN has boutique Barcelona apartments that are comfortable and stylish for vacation rentals.
