Wilde Sunglasses – vintage shades in Barcelona

There is always something to be said about straying from the well-trodden path and Joaquin Costa in Raval is no exception. On the same street as Les Topettes and hot dog takeaway spot The Dog is Hot, you can find Wilde, a store dedicated to vintage sunglasses. Owned by Venezuelan Cao Azuaje and Teppei Kikugawa from Japan, this store is perfect if you are seeking a good assortment of sunglasses as they stock styles from 1950 to 1990.

The Dog is Hot – creative hot dogs in Barcelona

What comes to mind when you see guacadog, piña dog, mush dog, basil dog and green dog? If you answered- simple yet cool hot dog joint in Raval, you are right! These are just some of the variety of hotdogs served up at, The Dog Is Hot on Calle Joaquín Costa, Barcelona. When walking along the street it is hard not to notice the takeaway place as the bold graffiti on the exterior certainly makes an impression.

Apart from the fact that the entire staff wears camper shoes, there is no direct connection between the 2 says Albert Rauric (former head chef at El Bulli).
