Sitges Film Festival 2012

The Sitges Film Festival, held in seaside town Sitges in Catalonia, is one of the most renowned film festivals in Europe, and focuses mainly on the horror and fantasy genres. The 45th festival takes place from the 4th-14th October and this year a tribute will be paid to Quentin Tarantino, to celebrate the 20^th anniversary of Reservoir Dogs. The festival will hold a special screening in Tarantino’s honor on October 5^th at 13:45. The theme of this year’s festival is the apocalypse, very fitting with talk of Mayan’s end of the world fresh on people’s tongues in addition to the constant reminder of the economic meltdown.
