Apartment: Cañadilla
Who knew holidays could be this inspiringly elegant?
Just between the Gothic Quarter and chic Eixample area we welcome you in the Cañadilla Apartment. In surprising contrast to the building's historic exterior, the interior offers contemporary style and comfort in abundance. Enjoy the soothing effect of Cañadilla.
Rustic vintage & gorgeous design
Like our other apartments in this building, the Cañadilla Apartment has been completely redone. This spacious holiday apartment offers an inspired mix of rustic vintage pieces and some gorgeous design classics.
Take the simple shape of the Secto lamp by Finnish designer Seppo Koho for example, with its wonderfully soft light. And the famous Cesta lamp by Catalan designer Miguel Mila, which is made of cherry wood curved around an opal crystal ball. Or the scrap wood table in the bedroom.
Purple, mauve and beige
The Cañadilla Apartment was named after a tiny sea snail that was once used to extract purple dye from. The place lives up to its name by surrounding you with warm purple, mauve and beige colours. Designed to help you relax within minutes.
A Holiday apartment to remember
The apartment, measuring 65 m2 (700 sq ft), has a living room, an open kitchen, a laundry room, a sunroom, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom. Throughout the apartment it's the deluxe touches that stand out: the state-of-the-art kitchen equipment, the bathtub with two headrests, the delightfully fluffy towels.
Top quality bed
The Cañadilla apartment can sleep four. The top quality bed can be converted into two singles or a seamless kingsize. The sofa in the living room converts into two comfortable single beds. The beds are decked out in top quality linen and come with both firm and soft pillows.
Very quiet
Because it looks out on a typically Barcelonian inner courtyard, the apartment is very quiet, perfect for light sleepers.
Steps from Placa Catalunya
Cañadilla is centrally located in a Modernista (Art Nouveau) building near the University of Barcelona. You're just steps away from Gaudí's architecture in the chic Eixample district and the Gothic Quarter, the oldest part of the city, where ancient history blends with trendy boutiques.
