A warm, artisan haven unassumingly and wonderfully set against a 15 meters exposed brick wall. This 1 bedroom /1 bathroom, 90m2 (968 sq feet) loft like space in natural colors and adorned with eclectic artifacts, has a balcony at the front that looks out onto the popular and pleasant street of Enric Granados. It is located on the second floor.
It's distinctive charm can be seen from the restored doors, the original Catalan style high ceilings and the exposed copper piping that lines the walls and the ever-present paper lanterns effortlessly floating throughout the apartment giving pockets of light. The colorful Boucherouitte Moroccan vintage rugs, made from scraps of material adorn the floor of the apartment like pieces of art, with the main ones placed by the sofa, making the perfect resting place for your bare feet as you relax with a glass of cava.
Chirping birds from outside gently lilt your ears in the bright bedroom, from where you can simply open the large sliding wall to the dining area with luscious green planters. From the bedroom and from the dining area you have access to the glass-enclosed balcony with views over the neighboring terraces.
The kitchen, fully equipped with high-end appliances, has a breakfast area and is stocked with the essentials.
After a day of exploring the city, refresh in the bathroom that is graced with vintage style pale yellow tiles, a shower/bath combination and fluffy white towels.
The street where the apartment is located is praised by locals for being one of the nicest streets in Eixample, not only is it leafy, it is quiet and has an incredible selection of good restaurants, shops and galleries.

The Enric Granados apartment is nestled in the heart of Eixample, a short stroll away from Passeig de Gracia and Rambla Catalunya.
Laid out during the 19th and early 20th century, the entire district of Eixample sometimes also referred to as the Gold Square (Cuadrado de Oro) contains the most modernist buildings in Barcelona and is a testament to the genius of modernist architects like Antoní Gaudi, Enric Sagnier and Doménech I Muntaner.
Just a short distance from the apartment, you'll find La Pedrera, one of Gaudi's most famous works of art. Passeig de Gracia, also hosts a plethora of leading fashion houses like Carolina Herrera, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Loewe, Chanel and Yves Saint-Laurent.
Gayxample, the gay district, also set in the elegant Eixample area, is close by and amongst the cosmopolitan side of town. Excellent hotspots reside in this lively part of town.
The semi-pedestrianised street Enric Granados itself, is ideal for those that are attuned with a more laidback lifestyle. There is an abundance of places to eat outdoors, benches to sit and take in the scene and cute squares. We particularly like the art galleries, relaxed vibe at Cosmo cafe, which also showcases local exhibitions and the most delicious and innovative food at the delightful small Gresca restaurant.
As locals we regularly eat out in the city, so we thought we'd share our list of bars, cafes and restaurants. We have visited them all! Download list.
