Relax and enjoy sky-high living in this breathtaking penthouse, boasting incredible views from Barcelona’s famous Avenida Diagonal.
This 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom, 65m2 (652 sq feet) is centered around the grand oversized arched window that illuminates the open plan living space, and frames the neighboring majestic buildings outside impressively. With two comfy loungers positioned in front of the window, colorful cushions, a Beni Ourrain Moroccan vintage rug and a hanging handcrafted wooden beaded light fixture, it is one unique space to put your feet up and unwind.
Eclecticism resonates throughout the penthouse with carefully selected pieces such as the elegant coat hooks made from Legna wood and bronze by Chilean design studio Bravo and the contemporary olive green Corniche-for Vitra shelves that give an accent of color to the clean white walls. These pieces fuse together with more design classics like the 1950s Butterfly Ercol chairs to create an individual style.
The original wooden flooring is beautifully laid out throughout the space, neatly adding a warm touch. The bedroom is a cosy area with a king size bed and floor to ceiling storage for your belongings and an en-suite bathroom that comes equipped with a rain shower.
Foodies will be happy to know that the kitchen, fully equipped with high-end appliances, is also stocked with the essentials.
Should the magnificent view from the window in the lounge not be enough, you can enjoy the plant littered private terrace that is specially furnished for outdoor dining and enjoying a glass of cava before heading out. Adjacent to the terrace is a bright external sunroom equipped with a sofa - ideal for those that perhaps need a little nap after relaxing on the sun loungers and basking in the sun.
Your neighboring streets include the pedestrianized Enric Granados, vibrant Casanova and Aribau, all of which have nice cafés, restaurants and bars.

Diagonal is the main avenue in Barcelona that splits the city in two diagonally, separating the city from east to west. It was previously known for being an ideal place for the Catalan aristocrats. Here you will find architectural Modernist buildings like that of Casa de les Punxes by Josep Puig i Cadafalch.
The avenue has selected high-end fashion stores and interior design stores. Dining out is easy with contemporary Catalan restaurant Hisop, the classic El Velódromo and chic rostissería Chez Coco drawing a crowd to the area.
Enric Granados is just a short walk away and has independent art galleries, tapas bars, great restaurants and cafes. Perfect place for the summer when you feel like drinking alfresco and taking in the environment.
Gayxample, the gay district, is close by and amongst the cosmopolitan side of town. Excellent hotspots reside in this lively part of town.
As locals we regularly eat out in the city, so we thought we'd share our list of bars, cafes and restaurants. We have visited them all! Download list.
