+ From BCN Airport: take a taxi (approx. 30 minutes/35,00 euros) or the Aerobus (approx. 35 minutes/7,25 euros) and get off at the Plaça Universitat stop. The apartment is one block away – see directions (Note that to take the bus back to the airport you’ll have to go to the Plaça Catalunya stop as it doesn’t stop at Plaça Universitat on the way back.)
If you’d like to arrange a pick-up in advance, we partner with Welcome Pickups to ensure a seamless transfer from the airport to our location.
+ From Sants train station: take a taxi (approx. 15 minutes/15,00 euros) or the L3 metro line and get off at Plaça Catalunya stop. The apartment is two blocks away – see directions (Note that from the station you’ll need to walk through an underground tunnel to reach the platform, so the metro may not be the best option if you’re carrying multiple or heavy suitcases)

Our general check-in time is 14:00h and check-out time is 10:00h, however we can be flexible, provided that we don’t have a departure or an arrival on the same day. In case we are unable to provide an early check-in or a late check-out, you are welcome to store luggage with us.

PAYMENT OF CITY TAX AND THE DEPOSIT
The city tourist tax of 6,88 euros per person per night will have to be paid upon arrival. It is charged for a maximum of 7 days to guests aged 17 and older.
A credit card pre-authorization of 100,00 euros for incidentals is required during check-in. This amount will be released after your departure and if there is any consumption, it will be charged from the preauthorised amount. Please make sure you have a credit card available for this purpose when you arrive.
In addition, if the booker will not be present at check-in, they must provide the full name of the person checking in first. This person will be responsible for the city tax payment and deposit.
PASSPORT | ID REGISTRATION
We are legally required to register all guests at check-in, in accordance with local regulations. Each guest must present a valid passport or European ID, complete a digital registration form with their address information, and sign it. If any guests will be arriving separately, or if you wish to speed up the check-in process, please contact us via Airbnb, email at info@destinationbcn.com or whatsapp at 0034 696688095. We will send you a link to complete the form remotely.
MAKE THE MOST OUT OF YOUR TRIP
Your time is precious, therefore DestinationBCN has carefully curated a guide to help you find the best restaurants in Barcelona. Whether you are looking for a locals-only hole-in-the-wall restaurant or want to indulge in a 40-course degustation at superstar chef Albert Adrià’s latest restaurant, get inspired with our recommended restaurant list
With a magnitude of things to do and see, Barcelona is very exciting but can be a little overwhelming if you don’t do your research.
Guests that book with us are welcome to ask us any questions to ensure they have the perfect time in Barcelona. We have put together a list of the main sites and we have extended this further by collaborating with local businesses in the city that dedicate themselves to helping visitors experience the real Catalonia and to find the special places. This entails customised trips for families, an intimate tapas tour, a wine tasting, a bike tour and more – we like to think of them as our extended family. You can find them all here
