La Paradeta
A popular semi ‘self service’ seafood restaurant. Fresh seafood is ordered from the counter as if you were on the market. They prepare it however you want and you can pick it up from the counter afterwards. A unique, casual, no frills, great price/quality offer.

El Passadis del Pep
A very good seafood restaurant. You don’t order, they keep bringing you dishes and cava (about 8 courses). It is a spacious restaurant, very authentic and in a nice area (El Born). From the street you can’t see the restaurant. There is a bank on the corner of the same building called ‘La Caixa’ with a yellow logo. You enter through a narrow hallway, the restaurant is in the back.

Botafumeiro
Botafumeiro is passionate about seafood, sourcing it daily at the early morning fish auctions of Catalonia and Galicia. Using only in-season produce, seafood is oven-roasted or grilled over an oak charcoal flame. It’s also a great place to try rice dishes such as their delicious soupy rice with lobster, Seafood Paella or Squid-ink rice with baby calamari. For meat-eaters, there’s Galician Blond Porterhouse Steak – grass-fed cattle bred and raised, following traditional methods on their own farm in Galicia.
